About Bay City Animal Hospital
Corrine - Registered Veterinary Technician
Hi my name is Corrine and I started with Bay City Animal Hospital May 2020 after moving to North Bay from Barrie. Corrine graduated from Seneca College with Honours in 2008 and has spent the majority of her career working in Emergency and Critical Care hospitals.
Corrine moved to North Bay with her dog Willow and her cat Aspen. When not working you can find Corrine hiking the area’s trails or backcountry camping whenever she gets the chance.
Holly - Veterinary Technician
My name is Holly and I’m one of the veterinary Technicians here at Bay City Animal Hospital! I recently graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician program at Northern college in 2020 and have been working towards writing my registration exam!
I’m new to the North Bay Area but always have called northern Ontario my home being born and raised in Sudbury.
I’m very much looking forward to both meeting and being a part of your pet’s healthcare team! When not at the clinic you’ll find me hiking and exploring the great outdoors with my dog Thor, or curled up with Buster, my spicy orange tabby cat!
Emily - Receptionist
Hi my name is Emily and I am the receptionist at Bay City Animal Hospital. Lots of experience with dogs, cats, horses & other farm animals. Also lots of experience in customer service, retail & education in arts & culinary. Part of a family of four, including my parents, younger sister & myself. Have a horse of my own, as well as a dog & a cat. Have been horseback riding since the age of 3, & enjoy making custom art portraits, as well as listening to music, hiking & the outdoors. Originally from Lindsay, Ontario. Have always wished to work as a receptionist in an animal clinic & love everything that my job has to offer. Love working alongside the team, & with all of our wonderful clients & patients.
Brea - Pet Stylist
My name is Brea and am a Professional Pet Stylist working at Bay City Animal Hospital! I have been grooming for approximately 14 years and have always had a passion for working with animals. I specialize in reed standard trims, pet grooms, comfort grooms and working with both dogs and cats. My favourite part about the career that I have is getting to make animals feel and look their best at the same time! A good spa day can make such a difference to a dog's well-being! I love working with animals and am so grateful to have found my calling at such a young age. I have four furry family members including a senior shih-tzu and a senior cat and they make every day better! I love spending time with animals, whether it be at work, or taking my dogs for a hike! I love what I do and can't to pamper your pets!
Paige - Pet Stylist
My name is Paige, born and raised in North Bay Ontario. I am currently a pet groomer, and exploring the clinical field at Bay City Animal Hospital. I was apprenticed in grooming for about 3 years, and currently 7 years working with animals. I always had a love for animals - capturing frogs and bugs to making habitats for them, thinking at the time that I was giving them pure royalty. In my free time I still enjoy always being outdoors, spending time at my trailer on the lake with my family, including our two dogs Pandora and Lily. Currently, my goal is striving working to make grooming as stress-free as possible. Making it a positive experience for each pet, loving them as my very own while they are in my care. I believe it is a must to have a great deal of patience and trust, as well as the ability to read dogs' body language and personality. I continue to learn everyday as each pet brings on different challenge to face when working hands on with them. In all, putting smiles on my clients face, as well as a wagging tail to their furry companion is what makes the job so satisfying.
